Martin Carrera Metro is a station on Line 4 of the Mexico City Metro system. It is located in the neighborhood of Martin Carrera in the Gustavo A. Madero borough in the north of the city. The station opened in 1981 and is named after the nearby Martin Carrera Garden, which was named after Martin Carrera, a Mexican general and politician who served as president of Mexico for a short time in the mid-19th century. The station serves as a transfer point to several bus lines and is a busy transportation hub in the area. The platforms of the station are elevated and can be accessed by stairs or escalators.
